Dear Parents:

Due to Covid this year, bus transportation has to run differently which included a sign up process.

We had sent out a bus sign up at the beginning of August with a deadline of August 9th to opt in or opt out of transportation.  This deadline was extended to August 12th.  The sign up was discussed at a couple School Board meetings and directions were sent out twice via email, our website, Twitter and Facebook.

We understand the frustration, but based on the bus capacity guidelines of 2 students per seat and restrictions, we felt this would be the best solution to try and capture what the parent needs were.  At this time, the bus routes are still being worked on; based on the surveys that were returned.  

The bus routes are normally done during the month of July, but we had to wait until August this year when the Reopening Plan was finalized.  Once the routes are complete, we will then see what routes can accept more students. 

Because of the late start and the restrictions, it may be a couple weeks before we can assign all students who need transportation to a bus route.

As soon as we can establish true ridership, we will start working on the wait list and you will be contacted.
