Welcome to the South School Counselor Page
The two South School Counselors are Bridget Gingrow, MSW and Bart Hemmerich, MSW, MAEd. Bridget is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings, and Fridays. Bart is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are eager to assist families in developing positive social-emotional growth, and hope this page helps families to learn about existing, reliable resources. We are including documents from our program at South School on topics such as bullying, social skills, group counseling and other school counselor services.
We are pleased to offer a wide range of books and videos/DVDs for parents in the school library. Topics include: Separation and divorce, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Loss of a loved one, Anger management, Child Development, and General parenting guidance. The library is open during regular school hours.
