Book stack 2

Recommended Reading
The MT Reading Department and Wellness Committee have purchased copies of the book "Eat This, Not That-For Kids" by, David Zinczenko for our MT library and each classroom library. The book gives illustrated examples of good food choices for kids and offers nutrition information on the many fast food restaurant menu options and prepared foods from the grocery store that kids often like.  There is an adult version of the book too.  Physician, Shanon Gruchot has been sharing selections from the book during our Fit Fun time on Wednesday mornings and the children really love it.  The book is available in stores in the area like Barnes & Noble, Target and Sears.  There is also a website, eatthis.com which offers the book, newsletter and other health-related information.
