Welcome to the web page for Mrs. Cashman's Supplemental Math class. This page will give basic information to parents and students regarding class policies, the ability to download some practice worksheets, and some web links that may be of interest.
Supplemental Math
Supplemental Math is a program where students are taught in small groups by certified teachers in order to maximize learning, enhance self-image, and help children to develop a positive attitude toward math and learning. The classroom teacher and I will arrange an appropriate schedule for Supplemental Math classes during regular school hours. Instruction may take place in the student's class, or he/she may be taken out of the classroom to receive small group instruction.
Although I do not assign homework, I cannot stress enough how important it is for all students to practice their math facts. Just a few minutes a day can make a big difference!
