General Information
All 6th grade students will be enrolled in language arts, social studies, science, mathematics and reading for a full year.
All students will also have a related arts program composed of art, health, exploring foreign language and keyboarding/computer. Each of these programs will meet on a daily basis for one-quarter of the school year. Exploring foreign language will include an introduction to both Spanish and French.
Additionally, all students will be enrolled in physical education and music for the entire school year on an alternating schedule. For music, students may select beginning instrumentals, band, chorus, beginning orchestral strings, orchestra, or general music.
Browne Center, an outdoor environmental program, will be an integral component of the educational program for all sixth grade students. Parents are responsible for tuition payments as well as the completion of medical forms.
Project DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) will also be a component of the sixth grade program.
