The LHS Dance Team was created to promote school spirit and to highlight all the great
dancers we have at our school.
Advisor:
Michelle Wooding
Practices:
Practices are usually held in the cafeteria from 2:15 to 3:15 as well as on
occasional Sundays at a local dance studio. We generally meet once or twice a
week before the Fall, Winter and Spring pep rallies. Once we have learned our
routines, we only meet the week before an event.
Rules:
Please follow the rules in our student handbook (you must be passing 5 courses in
order to maintain eligibility)
Events:
We perform at all three pep rallies, a Make a Wish benefit, and an occasional
invitational or competition.
Note:
Tryouts will be held the second week of school. We will have the date shared on
the announcements as well as on school bulletin boards throughout the building.
Our routines are generally a combination of hip hop and modern.
Please email Mrs. Wooding at mwooding@londonderry.org if you have any
