Extra Help:

I am available for additional help after school on most days.  Each week extra help days are written on the small board.

Math Lab is available every period of the day.

Math Honor Society students tutor every Tuesday in room 157, 2:00 - 3:00 pm.

This is an Honors Level Math Course and expectations are reflected to that end.  Homework is assigned each day and assignments are expected to be completed in a neat and organized fashion and turned in on time.

Several long term projects are assigned throughout the year.  Some are individual and others are group projects.  These require time management and the ability to work together to produce a professional-looking finished product to be proud of.

A current syllabus outlining the schedule and homework for each chapter can be downloaded.  Other documents include Classroom Expectations as well as Keys to Success.

Six Competency Assessments will be given throughout the year.  Student performance on initial competency assessments will be factored into quarter grades.  If a student fails the competency assessment (59% or below), the student will be given multiple opportunities to earn the passing grade (60 % or higher) but that initial grade will be the one used in quarter average calculations.  Students must pass all 6 competency assessments and pass the course with a semester average of at least a 60% to receive credit for the course.
