Dance Team Information
The LHS Dance Team is a club geared toward promoting school spirit open to all eligible 9-12 students.
We generally have tryouts within the first two weeks of school after which our team is formed. No formal dance training is required, but we do look for aptitude and ability to pick up routines quickly since these are necessary requirements for keeping up with our challenging routines.
Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 3:15, and a few of our commitments include performing at pep rallies, benefit performances and invitationals.
Our practices are quite regular first semester, whereas we only meet on an as needed basis prior to events second semester. The two primary routines we learn are mainly hip hop with some components of jazz.
