Computers are in the workplace, our children’s schools, and our homes. Introducing a continuing education program within the Londonderry School District that will increase your skills and relieve your anxiety!
We teach non-traditional students how to upgrade their skills. Eighty percent of 21st century jobs require computer knowledge. Become competitive in today’s techno-savvy work environment.
We will help families who are overwhelmed with all-too-easy access to volumes of information, communication channels, and materials on the Internet. Plan for safe access while filtering out those elements that are unwanted. Know as much as kids do about computers!
It’s NEVER too late to learn!
All classes meet from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Londonderry High School. 20% discount for Senior Citizens 65 and older!

Courses need at least five students to be held. You will be contacted in the event of a course cancellation or rescheduling.
There is an 80% refund before the first class, 50% before the second.
If you would like a class offered that is not listed, please let us know! With 5 students, we’ll schedule it.
In the event of inclement weather, Londonderry School District cancellations or early dismissals will be followed. Cancellations will be broadcast on cable Channel 21 (LEO) or WMUR 9.

Introduction to Computers, Email, and the Internet—For those of us who never quite understood what everyone’s been talking about! Learn about computer hardware and Windows XP, the ins and outs of emailing, including attachments, and surfing the internet! We’ll talk about terminology, gadgets and what’s coming up in the future. Great basic course.
Introduction to Excel—Learn the basics of spreadsheets, including ranges, formats, formulas, printing, and page layout. Most jobs require some knowledge of spreadsheets, and this is a great introduction!
Selling on eBay—Learn the “ins and outs” of selling on the popular online auction site from an eBay certified instructor! Uploading pictures, writing descriptions, understanding PayPal, packing and shipping, and tips and tricks.
Managing your Digital Photos—Learn to download photos from your digital camera, organize them, and present them in a slide show, and burn them to a CD. Don’t lose those precious memories! Safekeep your past for your future.
File Management—Understand the file structure of Windows. Delete, move, and backup data. Don’t fall apart if your computer crashes. Keep that important information safe, and understand where to find your important information.
Quicken Financials—Quicken allows you to manage your checkbook, reconcile, print reports and charts, and generally manage your finances. Learn to enter, categorize and track spending and income. Track investments and budget for the future.
Understanding Excel Formulas—If you know enough about Excel that you don’t need an introductory course, but would like to really understand formulas and functions, this is the course for you! Learn basic to complex formulas, functions such as sum, min, max, countif, pmt, lookup, if tests and other functions. Understand the syntax of formulas and functions, and feel better about the math!
Expert Formatting in Word-You can create a document, do basic editing (bold, underline, font change, etc.) but you want to know MORE. Understand the icons on the ruler, managing paragraph indents, bullets and numbered lists, styles and fonts. Be a formatting wizard!
PowerPoint Slideshows for All Occasions–Learn how to put together a Slide Show to be presented at Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings, and Memorials. Learn to scan pictures, add to slides, play music, and get it all to run with nothing but a click! This course includes a basic introduction to PowerPoint.
